Lawyers don’t need to code they need to cartoon! We are pleased to have assisted Aurecon to create a visual employment contract. It is a legally enforceable contract in comic strip format, jargon-free & with 4000 fewer words than the standard employment contract. We love to innovate with our clients here at Norton Rose Fulbright.
A great idea which I believe will gain greater momentum. There is no reason why the courts would not enforce these contracts

These are a great way to make sure workers understand what is required without making it tedious. Workplace documents shouldn't have to be studied.
Love it. Contract by emoticon 😊😊
This is how law should be taught, at least in the early years including high schools. https://www.legalbusinessworld.com/single-post/2017/12/12/Design-Thinking-Will-Change-the-Practice-of-Law
Ahhhh finally! I started a legal picture blog in 2015 called Picture The Law but people were just not ready for it back then. The concept of mixing images with law was so radical to most! I'm soooooo happy design thinking is starting to be applied to the legal world - wohoo! :) Thanks for sharing Nick! http://www.picturethelaw.com
Never heard of this before- wow! The overlap of law and comedy-imagine that! ;)

Nick! This is one of my (unexplored) pet issues! Some of the examples coming from the Royal Commission highlight the need to not just strip out jargon, but entirely overhaul the way contracts are presented to clients. Even lawyers (or most of them...) don’t read the terms and conditions. This is great. Kudos to Jason too 🎩.

5yWhat a fantastic way to make legal contracts understandable to the general public.
